What is the Breeze Airways Pet Policy?

Cuddling your pet on a Breeze flight should add to your delight! Make sure you have a soft-sided carrier that fits under the seat in front of you. Here are a few things you must know about Breeze Airways pet policy.

  • While Breeze allows service dogs in the cabin, emotional support animals will have to be booked as pets.
  • You will not be able to occupy Breeze Ascent seats or Exit row seats.
  • A pet carrier cannot be placed on the seat even if you have purchased an extra seat.
  • Breeze Airways pet dog policy lets you book the pet for the return flight also but you will have to pay charges separately.
  • Make sure that the pet is not under distress when you are going to board a flight.
  • Only dogs and cats will be allowed. So, no exotic pets on Breeze Airways.

Flights may get overbooked with pets and your pet may be denied boarding! It is advisable to book your pet's travel as far in advance as possible. Our Air1Network will help you understand the process of adding a pet on Breeze Airlines.

How can you add a pet on Breeze Airways?

A pet carrier is included in your carry-on. In fact, Breeze Airways will treat it as a personal item. That is why it should fit easily underneath the seat in front of you. If you have a personal item, you may have to find another suitable space for it. On Breeze, you must acquire a standard legroom or extra legroom seat when you have a pet carrier with you. Breeze recommends that you change seats to accommodate the pet in the cabin. Or you could hand over the pet to a person who has a standard legroom or extra legroom seat. If you have a Breezy Rewards Account, you will have to link it to My Trips. Take a look at the steps you need to follow for including dogs under Breeze Airways pet policy.

  • Log in to your Breezy Rewards Account and go to the MyTrips page.
  • Select the flight or reservation you are booked on.
  • Click ‘More Options’ under your name or the name of the passenger who's travelling with the pet.
  • Choose the Add option next to Extras.
  • Add the pet and select the traveller.
  • Continue to checkout to pay the pet charge per flight.

Under Breeze Airways service dog policy, you may not be able to check-in online if you have a pet or service dog. Feel free to visit or contact Air1Network for assistance.

What charges do I pay for adding a pet on Breeze Airways?

Charges for adding a pet are $99 per way. If it is a round-trip, you will have to add another $99 to the Breeze Airways pet fee. You can pay these charges at the time of booking also. But make sure you have chosen an extra legroom or a standard legroom seat. You have the option of purchasing an extra seat for your pet. But unlike excess baggage, you will not be able to place a pet carrier on the seat. You must know that there are other more important things when you want to add a pet on Breeze Airways.

  • Documentation - DOT forms are mandatory for service animals.
  • Size of the pet carrier - The pet carrier size on Breeze Airways should be smaller than 17x8x13 inches.
